do people say “bad neighborhood” for cities next to all-white high schools where the boys are getting high every day and raping girls? do they even say “bad neighborhood” for cities with large kkk meetings? or is bad neighborhood a strictly anti-black code?
The saying, “there goes the neighborhood” originated about black folks moving in.
so for those who are curious on why ive been a bit absent from tumblr lately. I went to New Orleans, LA to visit some college friends of mine with the very lovely chlo-in-tha-dark. we had loads of fun catching up and talking about our Korean obsessions. BUT my favorite part of the whole trip has to be stopping in Baton Rouge and catching up with some old and REALLY GOOD friends from high school Ryan and Thomas. No alcohol was consumed on this trip shockingly. not shocking for me but shocking for chloe! this quick ramble was just to state im going back to my “regular” blog posts. they weren’t that regular to begin with. im still thinking on how to expand my blog in the martial arts and daily life side. im also curious on if you will care about the Korean side im about to explore into more? i wanted to Vlog new orleans but i couldn’t find my camera. as you know my asks are always open and im open to ANY questions on almost any topic! if i no nothing on the topic i will most likely point into a direction that will answer it!

Music/Video Monday: Award Winning Lupita Nyong’o Braids Hair like a Boss
In this video Lupita talks about the classic black girl dilemma, where to get your hair done. I like that she took matters into her own hands. This video shows exactly why she is my best friend in my head.
I love every bit of this.
Can she be anymore down-to-earth and perfect?
those bantu knots are on point though!
